Engaged by The Athena Group in New York City to develop 34 town-homes in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Willco Residential, LLC successfully navigated and obtained a Planned Unit Development (PUD) that required approval from local neighborhood groups, the Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC), DDOT, DDOE, Office of Planning, Zoning Commission, Army Corps of Engineers, Fire Marshall, and the Parks Department.

The Palisades neighborhood is a very wealthy, highly desirable neighborhood in Washington, DC. The neighborhood has a reputation of successfully stopping new real estate developments.

Willco Residential was able to obtain approvals that provided for the targeted amount of density on the site, while still maintaining good will and responsible growth for the neighborhood.

In December, 2010 The Athena Group sold the fully entitled property for 70% above market value.
